It’s New Comic Book Day, so you know that that means – Another issue of Transformers: ReAnimated!
Within these digital pages, you will find a story written with a love for the G1 glory days. This story helps fill the gap between the end of the original second season and the 1986 movie that defined the childhood of millions.
This month, we take a look at Issue #8 of our rejected IDW comic series, and take a closer look at an Autobot who we feel never quite got his dues in the G1 cartoon; everyone’s favorite, semi-invisible spy, Mirage!
The G1 cartoon was never shy of one-off stories set all over the globe, and we think this particular script pays homage to those stories in a big, big way.
With line art and colors by the very talented Damon Batt. Written by Youseph (Yoshi) Tanha from the YoshiCast and Greig Tansley from the Unfunny Nerd Tangent podcast.
Plus, we feel it showcases Mirage and his bad-ass-ness (is that word, Perceptor? It is now) at his best.
Autobots! Decepticons! Russians!
What’s not to love?
So, if you did you like issue 8: Snowblind… Then please consider contacting SKYBOUND Entertainment (Via E-mail or Twitter) and let them know you would have liked to see Transformers: REANIMATED as an ongoing comic book series written by Yoshi and Greig.
